Before getting started with Lightning AI, either your sales rep or an account manager will send you an onboarding survey. The survey helps us collect the details we need to get your Lightning AI account created and synced with the ad platforms you're using.

Completing the onboarding survey early-on helps you get the most value out of your initial kick-off call with our customer success team.

This article guides you through some of the details we ask for in the survey and how to find those details in your various accounts.

Google AdWords Access

In order to build Google AdWords ads with Lightning AI, we'll need the Customer ID from your Google AdWords account. If you're not currently or don't plan to advertise on Google, you can skip this step.

To find your Customer ID visit: https://adwords.google.com

At the top right of the page, your Google AdWords Customer ID is listed.

If you're just getting started with Google AdWords, click here for a guide to creating a new Adwords account.

Select Billing & Payment Methods from the dropdown menu.

If you're just tracking one conversion event, the Pixel ID is not required. If you do not wish to optimize towards a custom conversion event, skip this step. Custom conversion tracking with the Facebook Pixel is something you could (and should!) do at any point in your advertising journey with us. We can even help optimize and launch this with you when you're ready.
